“Bygone Days In Vintage White”

Instructor: Tonya Weakly (Peddlers Den)

You will stamp and highlight a pair of unique, scallop circle cards. This technique is reminiscent of simpler times. You will take home two large stamps used. You will need to trim your rubber, stamp, do some simple masking, and highlight with color pencil. Assemble in class or later. You will take home THREE large Stamps!

Supplies students need to bring to class:
Scissors to trim your rubber stamps and mask, a large acrylic block with Grip-It (or some other way of attaching your plain rubber to your block for stamping), a black dye ink pad (we recommend Memories), black fine tip pen (we recommend .05 multiliner or comparable), white and black color pencils, pencil sharpener and adhesives to assemble.

“Masculine Variety”

Instructor: Phyllis Kenzik

I know some of you have trouble coming up with cards for those men in your life – So I came up with some for you! We will complete 6 cards in this class to delight the men in your life.

Supplies to bring to class: Adhesives for die cuts (some tiny pieces) and card assembly, including Pop Dots and Scissors.

“#1 Get your V.I.B.E.™ On!!- Vellum Impressions Beautifully” Embossed

Instructor: Cheryl Hurttgam (The Paper Hollow)

Class description in detail: How do you emboss on vellum with NO cracks? The V.I.B.E.™ way! V.I.B.E.™ is the newest and easy way to emboss on vellum. Perfectly laser etched acrylic boards with tracks to follow make it very hard to make a mistake. Just lay your vellum over the board and trace the lines with an embossing tool for a crisp, clean image. These unique and creative projects you will make in this class will amaze all your friends! No supplies needed and you get to keep the boards!!

“Frights and Delights Lever Card”

Instructor: Tonya Weakley (Peddlers Den)

This is a fun card, suitable for Halloween, OR convert it to an all occasion card by leaving off the ghosts and words. Your kit will include a red rubber stamp set containing 13 images. You will need to bring scissors suitable for trimming your rubber. Once you have trimmed your rubber, we will begin stamping. We will stamp the front overlay and inside in black ink, using masking to build the scene. We will use stipple brushes to add the blue tones. If time permits, you can assemble in class, but you will have
instructions to assemble later if necessary. Papers and envelope provided for one card.

Supplies students need to bring to class:
Scissors to trim your rubber stamps and masks, a medium (min. 3×4) acrylic blocks with Grip-It or some other way of attaching your plain rubber to your blocks for stamping, a well inked black ink pads (we recommend Memories), two shades of blue ink pads (a medium and dark, we recommend Yorktown Blue and Midnight Blue) and stipple brushes. HAVING THE CORRECT BRUSHES IS ESSENTIAL!! If in doubt please call Tonya at 630-862-8497 in advance. Your brushes must have long soft bristles, with a slightly rounded top (not blunt cut). We suggest either #4 or #6, but #2s can be used. Adhesive to assemble. Optional: black multiliner or comparable for error correction.

There’s something about black & white that makes cards look clean and elegant! It also saves you indecision on what color to use J We will complete 7 cards in this class and maybe learn a new trick or two along the way!

Supplies to bring to class: Adhesives to complete cards, Pop Dots or mounting tape. Everything else is provided.

“Dramatic Clouds”

Instructor: Tonya Weakley (Peddlers Den)

You will learn to create dramatic clouds using the Makin’ A Scene Stencils. Your class kit will include preprinted card blanks for two A2 African scenes, papers, envelopes, ribbon, stencils, mask, sponge and instructions. Please bring your own dye based inks (see below).

Supplies students need to bring to class:
Detail scissors, adhesives and assorted dye based inks. We used sunflower, tangerine, holly berry red, robin’s egg blue, yorktown blue and granite cool gray from our Makin’ A Scene ink collection. You will need color pencils (we used Prismacolor yellow ochre and light umber). You can substitute ink/pencil colors, or you can preorder from Peddlers Den. “Birthday Shaker Cards”

Instructor: Evonne Kincer

We will be using a variety of new dies and stamps from Creek Bank Creations, to create 3 amazingly cool shaker cards.  Including a slim line card, an angel side circle gift card holder, and a gumball machine easel card.

Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue, Paper Piercer craft tool, Scissors, Bone Folder, Scor-Tape ¼ “ wide or Red Line Tape.

“Butterfly Garden Mini Tote”

Instructor: Evonne Kincer

We will be using Creek Bank Creations Mini Tote and K Cupholder dies to create a sweet butterfly garden.  Starter kit includes a seedling pot, peat pellet and seeds.  Perfect for Spring Gifting!

Class Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of any class more than 25 days prior to the class date will receive a full refund, less a $10 service charge.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing.
No refunds will be made if a class is cancelled less than 25 days prior to the class.
Sometimes a class has to be cancelled if there are not enough students registered. If this should happen, you will have the option to take another class (if available) or receive a total refund of the class fee.
